Video is black and white?

Hey guys,

Running the following setup (drone is actually my friend's that I repaired for him).

Arris XAT700M camera: ARRIS XAT700M FPV Mini Camera for FPV Racing Drones
Arris TS5823L VTX: ARRIS TS5823L 5.8G 200mW 40CH Mini Video TX with LED Display

Fatshark HD3 goggles, LaForge v3 Diversity Module, TBS Triumph, TrueRC X-Air directional.

The video is really clear and I am on the right channel, but the video is black and white. I tried PAL/NTSC instead of Auto in Betaflight, but that didn't seem to fix it.

Any suggestions? Really not sure what to do.

sounds like a camera or lens problem to me. do you have another set of goggles to see if they are ok. i bought a new lens for mine and had same prob it was lens with no IR cut.

Even tho yor on the right channel, have you tried a few others to compare?
Can you plug another camera in just to see if it is that?

Yea I’m not going to worry about it too much. My goggles work perfectly with my Runcam Swift 2. If it were my drone I would replace the Arris cam with a the Swift 2 or Eagle 2

Yea I tried some other channels to no avail. I will try plugging in my Swift 2

Alright I plugged in my Swift 2 to his drone and it works fine. Must be a camera thing. Maybe my HD3 goggles are just weird...he had the Dominator v2s I believe and he never said anything about the video being black and white so maybe it was fine with those...

Yeah I would try a new lens to start with as it is cheapest option.
