Hello I'm building a 130 mm lisam qav. I built a 210 works good. I want to build a smaller version .I have some parts. Sp f3 FC. Racerstar 4 in 1 ESC.20a. maytec pdb xt60 w/adapter to 30..recommend motors. I have emax rs1306 4000kv
Frame is from Banggood so 3 weeks of plannings.

Any advice on blades. I ordered raycorp 3045 only because Thor used them for the same build on YouTube. Thanks

Hello again. My frame came. Now the motors came they are tiny. The br2205 fits nice but the props are small. Any thoughts. Thanky.

Larger props will hit your standoffs. Those motors might look good on the frame, but they're not for 3" props. Those props aren't efficient, get some RX3044T or similar.

Thanks I looked at those props on line. I'll order from us somewhere. Will the 1306 motors be powerful enough or another motor for 3 in props be needed

Those motors will be sweet on 3” props

Flew a maiden flight. It's ok with inefficient props. New props on the way suggested above. Snow on the ground but I lifted nice it flips and rolls . Flips and rolls in high wind at about 20 ft. What is the strongest motor for a 3in prop.

I use 1407 3500-4000kv I like Armattan Oomphs and Rotorgeeks are awesome

Hello another question. I'm using 1500 45c xt60 battery. Is it ok with such a big battery. I want to try my 4s 1800 45c what do you think. Thanks. Also I will post my pids later I think they need some changing. Flip and rolls a little slow

Any thoughts. Thanks

First, it is probably a good idea to have your pitch and roll rates the same. Usually they are tied together and show some little arrows between them.

Then you can raise either RC rate or Super Rate by about 10% and see how you like it. Repeat until it feels right.

Also, those batteries will work, it just won't handle as well or go as fast as a 1300mah for example. They should be fine for learning. When you get ready to go as fast as possible, you can get some 75C+ 1300mAh packs.
