Solution to the GoPro update problem

So i was trying to set up a GoPro Hreo3+ on my F550 drone. I have been doing a lot of reading and found out that the one of the past updates GoPro has disabled the video out using the USB mini cable that you can buy on amazon and other places.

So my question is has anyone else ran into this problem with the GoPro video out and what was you workaround?

Not sure about this particular problem but normally GoPro allows you to revert to previous FW, so maybe you can do that.
