Is the manual wrong?

A little more tuning and 2 more paks this evening, flies like its on rails, cant wait till tomorrow!

My sp evo fc came with a sp pdb, it has pins that lign up with the fc. I had to turn it 90 deg. so the fc wasn't in the way of the standoffs so motor 1's solder pads are near motor 4 and etc.

So I'm beginning to suspect my power unit might be at fault here. But with the DODO I won't have to worry about it since it has a regulator on the FC for itself. But I'm going to start another build with a open pilot FC and I figured I'll order some 5v regulators so I don't have to trust the power board completely.

Your PDB will still be powering the ESCs (and motors). Did you check that the ESC pads are still good on the PDB?

Yeah the pads are fine. I think its the 5v regulator on them that got busted and ended up killing the FC. Will try the Matek HUBOSD in a future build. Always wanted to have an OSD.
