And I thought watching one of my earlier Wizard quads randomly catch fire was bad. At least there’s an expectation with them that they will self immolate.

Random failure or have something to do with trying to land on something metal?
After I looked at it once I git home I think the fire was due to the quad landing on the arm which broke.bent upwards and fracturing the ESC (it pushed up the bottom plate that the ESC is mounted to). What I don't know is why the quad tumbled out of the air in the first place. I had power as I could see the fall in the goggles.
Well what ever it was it could have been worse.

LOL very true!! Then I would have had to drive home, get the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, a bungee cord and perform a rescue operation !!!
