Building Drone [Question]

Hello everyone,

I have been using a quadcopter with a Navio2 flight controller for my university research, and now I build a FPV drone for myself. Since I am new to this kind of drones I was thinking to buy a kit, like the following one:

HobbyKing Spec FPV250 V2 Drone ARF Combo Kit - Mini Sized FPV Drone (ARF)

But this particular kit doesn't have a flight controller. It advices the KK2.1.5 board though.. But I noticed this board was developed a few years ago. Is it still worth it? Do you guys have any preference for a flight control board to this kind of build?

Not a great kit IMO. And don't get that FC, get any 6d0f like an SP Racing f3 clone. Check out this budget build video for some ideas
