Thanks for the feedback. Yea idk what it is. I emailed Runcam and I am not sure they even know what it is. If I can't remove it then I will leave it around as a spare and pick up another. It isn't a huge deal.

I am incredibly OCD. It is just my personality. So all my stuff has to be perfect - my transmitter, goggles, drone, etc. I clean all my gear with a damp microfiber when I get home, etc. lol. This hobby is not very conducive to keeping stuff nice (well at least not the drone). I wasn't so sure...

Not sure what you mean by "put something in every field to see which one changes the 255 to something else"? What field are you referring to? Thanks

I went into the CAM title settings and all that and cleared it. Still nothing. This is with the camera hooked up to an external battery and hooked up to an external screen. Maybe it wouldn't do that if I had it hooked up to the FC. IDK. Super weird. Never again will I buy one of these cheap...

Square Trade is actually cheaper and I hear they do a great job. But of course you have to be willing to wait a few days, week, etc (however long it takes for them to get you a new one). With Best Buy you walk in and out.

I can't for the life of me figure out why there is a random number "255" in the middle of my camera screen. I've gone into the OSD settings and can't find anything to remove it. Any suggestions??

I am a huge Amazon Prime person, but I bought a Session 5 just now from Best Buy. I hear their coverage plan is unbeatable and I can just walk in there and swap it out at anytime if I break this one. Bought the 2 year coverage.

It looks like most folks are buying their Session from Best Buy due to their good extended coverage plans where you can simply walk in and have it replaced. Amazon uses Square Trade. Any feedback on which retailer you would use if you were to buy a Session 5? Thanks

I forgot to respond to this, but another fella over on Reddit mentioned having the motor idle set too low. Sure enough, that is exactly what it was. I had it set a 4.5% and bumped it up to 6.5% and it didn't do it again.

So I was thinking about building an ImpulseRC Reverb and KISS components seem to be a favorite for these frames. I am very familiar with Betaflight and BLHeli, but know virtually nothing about KISS and their software. Is it easy to learn? If I know Betaflight very well, could I pick up KISS...

So I was flying my Arris today line of sight (no goggles) and I was in Horizon mode. I was doing some flips and all of a sudden it flipped uncontrollably down to the ground. The drone was fine so I tried it again to see if it was an anomoly. And sure enough...if I try to do more than one flip it...
