Hey guys,
So I picked up an ARRIS X220 Pro Edition and one thing I noticed is that they used micro molex connectors (I think that is what they are called) on the board instead of soldering everything directly to the pads on the board. However, it seems that most folks solder the wires directly to the board when building their own quad.
For instance, on the SBUS pad they have a micro molex that hooks up to a 3 wire harness with a servo plug on the end to plug your receiver into. The video transmitter is the same except it has micro molex connectors on both ends. Same with the camera.
So do any of you use these types of connectors when you build your own quad, or do you typically just solder the wires directly to the board?
Thanks.
