One motor shuts off when yawing?

My friend has an ARRIS C250 V2. He is much newer to the hobby than I am. For some reason he has one motor that shuts off when he yaws. Any ideas on what this might be? I might reflash betaflight for him to start.

Seems like, to the untrained eye, that either the FC or ESC must be to blame. Can you duplicate on the bench with props off with just the yaw input?

Yea I agree...I’m giving him my old Raptor S board...should take care of the issue
