Help with DX5e/VelociDrone setup please

I've tried googling myself but I can't seem to figure out how to connect my transmitter? I had an old "all in one" simulator cable lying around that has 5 settings; VCR, XTR/FMS, G4/G5/G6, AeroFly and PhoenixRC but no matter what position I switch it to VD doesn't seem to recognize any inputs on the setup screen. Do I need a different cable?

It's possible it's not compatible with VD. Check the VD documentation or support resources to see if they specify compatible cable types or brands.
