Fpv goggles help

That doesn't sound like an issue with the goggles. But rather a problem with the flight controller injecting the on screen display (OSD) info into the video stream before it's transmitted from the quad. Check to make sure that your flight controller is capable of adding this info to the video (most are). Also, the RSSI info has to come from the receiver to the fight controller first. Make sure that this is setup correctly.

EDIT: Also, the video signal has to go from the camera, through the flight controller, and then to the VTX for this info to be added. If the camera is connected directly to the VTX, it won't get this info (unless the camera is set up to add the battery info).
 
okay, I can now see signal strength and the other things I want but the battery voltage is still at zero, and it's blinking. how do I fix that?
