FPV black video

So I found a manual for VTX and when I set it to any frequency, it definately finds the good frequency but no video. Now, since I soldered that camera connector, could that be bad or more likely camera? because I checked soldered pins and I get signal everywhere it needs to go...

but signal goes through, especially the one for video...how can it be bad? also the connector...no idea what can be wrong there

I doubt that brand new googles are fauty though.
And I checked camera, it could not been damaged since it was disconnected mostly.

Btw, if the camera needs input 12V and Im using 4S battery, should it be connected to 5V on the board or should it use battery voltage?

Haha, good question, yes the cap is removed. Im going to solder it on the pcb pins instead of using the connector. Will see if it helps.

I soldered one those 3 wires to pcb, red to 5V, black Ground, yellow Video In, ..no change on googles...really no idea whats with it. I hope the googles are bad cause I dont wanna change pcb on the drone and re-do all the stuff to get drone working with new board.

I had the same dilemma and it turned out to be a bad VTX
Hmm, I just ordered a new VTX so I really hope its just that. Btw, did your googles pick up the signal from vtx normally but u got just black screen? Or ur googles didnt pick the good signal?

My goggles picked up the signal but no picture. There was also a time when it did the same thing and I had to replace the receiver in my goggles.
