Shendrones Arkangel build will be a timelapse

This is a quadcopter build thread. It will be in time lapse at the end. For now I have this preview which was really just a test of the camera. I will post photos along the way. I hope to start building for real on Tuesday maybe.

Well my stupid gopro keeps locking up. Can't decide if I wait on a replacement until Friday, or use the relatively poor "miniature" mode time-lapse on my canon compact zoom camera. It blurs the top and bottom of the image.

I'm assuming here, but is there any button sequence to factory default the thing? I wonder if the issue is corrupt config in it instead of actual hardware fault.
Either way, wait on the good cam is my vote.

Yeah, I tried a factory reset, formatted the sdcard, updated firmware, etc. It works for a while then locks up. I thought updating the firmware had fixed it bit it came back after a while.

I am back at it, turns out it was the SD card. It was a brand new UHS-1 SanDisk from Amazon. I tried the one I had in my phone and it works great.

I got two of the motors put in (not soldered). I didn't like it when I went to bed last night. I don't know what happened but I went to bed and it looks a little better. Not sure if I will keep this or not.
