Diatone crusader gt2 camera Upgrade ?

i have a diatone crusader gt2 200

are there a direct replacement camera that i can upgrade to and get 1080 ?

i know i can add one to the top . but i would like a bolt in replacement for the stock camera .

does a better one exist ?

Welcome, Guru! Nah, you won't get 1080 out of the FPV camera. Your best bet is to go with the tried and true Foxeer HS1177. Maybe add the GoPro 2.5mm lens.

You could get a foxeer Monster which is 1200tvl. It is 16x9 aspect though. I think it gives you like 960i.

what do you guys run . seems the stock one is very low quality ?

I have been using a 600tvl Sony 1/3" CCD which is pretty much the standard. Recently got a Monster but haven't tested it out much yet. It is 1200tvl, but CMOS not CCD I believe. Generally CCD is preferred for better handling of dynamic lighting (light to dark transitions) and no jello.

I'm running a Runcam Swift Mini on my GT2 200 right now. I just put it on there a week or so ago and don't have much flight time with it yet. I put a GoPro 2.5mm lens on it. I did notice the colors were quite a bit more vibrant than the stock camera.

youll like yours if you change to a $12 gopro replacement lens
you may be having transmitter or antenna issues. if you have a right hand turn conical antenna on your xmitter, need the same on your receiver. also make sure your xmitter and receiver are on the same channel
