So today I achieved another first in my FPV flying career - ran out of batteries to fly. I was a field about 40 minutes from my house since I was testing out a glider my wife got me for my birthday. Brought three quads with me to fly as well. Two I've had tuned down for quite a bit now, one is my experimental build that I try things on. I ripped through 9 batteries with the quads....I actually used up all my batteries and had to go home because I didn't have any more. Thats a first for me.

Here's all the batteries I used up (including a 3 cell that the glider uses)

I actually filled my recharge pad. Thankfully these batteries are rated at a high C for recharging so got these all done in an house at 2C.

So what the maximum batteries you've gotten through in a flight?

Spider,

I'd guess 20-25 or so. Lots of crashes in between, though!

Jerry

Yeah I had a couple crashes that weren't fatal. Did a bit of walking to find them as well. But all in good fun.

Next time the batteries I use are on sale will have to get some more. Would love to have around 20 batteries to have an awesome flying day.
