It's fairly simple there are a lot of YouTube videos on how to do that you're basically just completing the circuit and taking a reading

Have you tried using a continuity tester? That might reveal what if any pads on the FC are dead.

I was just up in orlando looking at full sail university for my son. There seems to be alot more space to fly up that way compared to the lauderdale area.
