Wire gauges?

so I have some 18awg that’s 80 degrees celcius limit and it’s thicker than my motor wires that are also 18awg but 200 degrees celcius limit. So I ordered that thinkin I’d use the exact same for my motor wire extensions ten I find this other 18awg and it’s thicker so now I’m wondering if I ordered the right wire

It'll be fine. On my last build, I used 20awg between the motors and 4 in 1 ESCs with no problem
 
Yep. Actually, the difference in thickness is probably in the coating, not the actual wire. always use silicone wire, as it's more flexible and easier to work with. More importantly, the silicone won't melt when you're soldering
 
See that’s what I was thinking but you sealed it. Thanks man and yeah I noted when you told me the other day friend. I made sure it was silicone ;). Mad. Love my dude ❤️
