vtx not transmitting????

i got this vtx and put it in my build. i soldered red to 5v blk to gnd and yellow to vid. i only get a fuzzy barely visible picture on my goggles. can this work on 5v if it says 7-24? if not how can i get it to work? solder red to my battery + terminal? i use 4s so thats in range. or would i need a separate 2s battery?

Yes, you should connect it directly to lipo power. Also, the 5v out is the best option for powering your camera. And of course, get rid of that rubber ducky antenna.
