VTX channel...and RTX channel question

So I have a couple quads I"ve built now and am enjoying the hobby. One thing that still puzzles me a bit is the VTX and RTX. So most of my VTX's are set to use Band A channel 1. But on my RTX googles (I have two cheaper ones,....saving up for fatsharks, but **** builds add up) I noticed that I'll get the signal on multiple channels, and sometimes not even on Band A channel 1. Why does this occur, and how do I make sure I'm on the right channel to get the best signal from the VTX?

Great info...so is there any channel that would be unique enough not to bleed over...like F8?

Raceband is spaced for min bleed. Frequencies towards the high end and low end might be good since they are a bit outside bands used by Wi-Fi. But then your antenna is probably tuned to the center freq so it could lose a little sensitivity along with losing the Wi-Fi noise.
