Hi crew, well I’m out and about after a few days laying in bed, going to the dunny and moving across to the couch. Recently had a hernia operation which was probably the most restrictive thing I’ve had to deal with in years.
Anyway, I was escorted into town and allowed minimal shopping duties (to find toilet paper and hand sanitiser - the preppers had scooped up the lot). I packed my quad etc into backpacks and other less than suitable storage bags and on the way home they lay amongst whatever food we could find left on the shelves and after digging some of the kit out of the spuds, celery and chicken, I threw my toys out of the cot, researched and grabbed this backpack.
Not sure what the top feeders on here are running, but the backpack looks the goods. It’s a Lowepro.

I have the same bag and I had a bit of trouble getting all my gear in there, however I have it pretty well sorted now. I was using a tactical backpack before and had a bit more room but it was just too big. I think I would have been happier with the new Ethix bag but it wasn’t out yet and the fact that I scored my Lowerpro bag on eBay brand new and for $40 I can’t complain! I actually stitched on some straps so I could strap more quads on the outside. I can get all my gear in the bag and strap my 3 5” freestyle riffs and my 7” long range quad on the outside.

I was using a variety of bags and plastic boxes on the back of my quad and just leaving my gear on the car seat and would look at how shabby it always presented. Bought the backpack using a coupon on eBay and intend to carry pretty much just the basics and a few spares but I like the idea of stitching on some extra straps. I’ll do that.
cheers.

Lol buddy, I love the dunny part but I think dunny is an Aussie thing so not sure all will get that.
Backpack is one of our most important pieces of kit which is not often talked about. That looks sweet but I know you, soon you will need 2 just for an Arvo session.

Yep, as I typed the word dunny I had second thoughts, but given the whole #toiletpapergate fiasco, I figured it might fly.
Anyway, pretty excited to be getting the backpack and you’re probably right, I’ll end up loading it up like an Afghan bus. The rain came today but since I’m forced to take it easy at the moment, I’m flying 6-12 packs a day, destroying props, motors and having a fat time.
Hope you’re doing ok and getting some flight time in before we are all quarantined.....

Oh buddy, sorry you're laid up but at least you have fpv to turn to.
Toilet paper? What is that? Isn't that something pre end of world?
It is an absolute joke. So you're home?

Yeah I’m home due to a hernia operation, getting pumped with chicken soup and other bottom friendly foods. I’ve got toilet paper but then as the wife said, if push comes to shove, there’s always the garden hose being dragged through the house....
Flying any chance i get and loving it. Got a couple of DJI HD kits, broken one already (no parts due to the virus) and doing acro like a crazy man with the 5” and loving it. It really is that therapeutic.
Take care.
