Problem with new Turnigy Evolution Transmitter

I am a complete novice and recently bought a new Turnigy Evolution controller to use with a drone.

I have had the controller on charge for hours but when I turn the device on the battery symbol is a blank box which continuously flashes on and off and at the same time the screen light and control stick lights are flashing on and off.

I have studied the manual but can find no reference to this problem.

I would certainly appreciate some advice on how to get the controller to work properly.

I think you should contact the vendor and explain the problem.

Are u looking at Rx or Tx battery symbol?Are u able to reset to factory settings?

Thanks RENOV8R for your response. It was the TX battery symbol that was flashing. The controller now does not switch on at all and is completely dead. It appears there is a fault in the charging circuit for the batteries which are now completely discharged. I have contacted the retailer with a view of making a warranty claim.
