Poor reception

I have a QX7 bound to a furibee darkmax 220 which included a FRSKY receiver. i've always gotten poor reception and fail safes at like 50ft is there a setting that i need to look into or is the hardware damaged? on the OSD the reception bars say 0 i figured it was just the osd no being properly calibrated. Im really new to all of this by the way

Sounds like a faulty receiver. I would return the drone for warranty. Or if it is too much of a hassle, replace the receiver yourself.

i decided to just buy a new receiver since they're inexpensive
