Hi, I am a beginner, learning drone for 3 months. Recently OSD started showing message 'RX LOSS' or 'AXE LOSE'. The message showed only 0.5 sec so it's hard to catch it, and I can see my drone immediately stall and hit on ground around 15-20m away. After researching the context of message, it seems that my transmitter loses a signal, and drone falls down. Am I right? I often lose VTX signal at first, but never lose flight control transmitter signal before. I am not sure if my transmitter is problem or my drone is problem. Here is my situations;

pic01 - Drone: Beta65X whoop quad (2S) and transmitter: FrSky R97m lite, and goggles:Eachine 800D. I just placed extra antenna as quick test, but I am not sure this improve signal or not. And it looks to output the same signal strength.

pic02 - It shows openTX setting. In general, is that correct setting? I am not sure what External RF > Mode OFF means..

pic03 - goggles display shows antenna strength "20" although I place the drone, the goggles, and VTX next each other. I am expecting to see strength '99' ?!

pic05 - It shows openTX. Antenna strength start from 4/4, and I just walk away about 12m in my room. Then Antenna show 2/4. No doubt I got RX LOSS shortly when I fly outside.

Thus, I really appreciate if anyone gives me some tips to fix RX LOSS.

Thanks in advance

I got exactly the same today and the crash landing broke my motor wire :( I've done this route with my smaller TH2 with no issues as well which is what I'm surprised about.

To coyote,
I guess your case can be intercepted by another strong signal because your initial RSSI is 99. However, mine emits only 20 from the beginning...?
