Need help with micro racer set up I believe

I bought a micro dsm2 receiver and I believe I am running it right but when I go to cleanflight I cannot see my DX 6i movements I can tell that the micro receiver is binded because it stays solid blue. Didn't come with any instructions. But I read online that I need to solder the ground and channel 1 so that it produces a PPM Channel on Channel 2 but I cannot get any movement in cleanflight

Cleanflight is really old and not really used anymore, update it to Betaflight latest and I think that setup will support SBUS instead.

Sorry, I think that would run the Spektrum serial protocol instead of SBUS but I’m not sure what it’s called, I’m a Frsky and crossfire guy so I’m not that familiar with spektrum.
