Oh dear, wasn’t expecting that. Have you figured out what happened? I’ve had plenty of ESCs go up with only the slightest provocation but nothing as nuclear as that.
 
Oh man!!!! so sorry to see that happen. Was it the positive and negative wires reversed? If so don't feel bad ... I did the same... TWICE!

Bit of a long story.

Started with a smoke stopper. Plugged in and all went well, aside from one rear motor not moving as much as the others when doing the startup chime. Unplugged

Plugged in again with the stopper to check the motor, it was moving but weak. Unplugged again.

What I missed was that put a few long screws on the motors.

Plugged in without the stopper to check the video and both back motors smoked. Unplugged. Picked the brains of my mates on discord on potential issues and the screw issue was mentioned and I found the issue.

I replaced the screws with shorter ones, made sure everything was good with the motors and plugged in again....
