I've got a uni project where we have to build a UAV. See here for more detail *(Looking for some help clearing up everything I need for FPV on a drone), I was advised there to make separate threads to get my questions sorted.

In brief, I've found I need separate communication for FPV transmissions, will all this work to connect it to a PC.

Transmitter

Receiver

Separate Battery for receiver (needs to run for ~30 minutes)

And an A/V to USB connectors.

Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything , thanks for any help.

Hi again Acarospace,
A little confused. You identify a separate battery for the receiver? can you clarify a bit. Just not sure where a 3.7V 600mAh fits in.

The receiver needs to be powered and I won't have access to mains power while flying the UAV, from what I've read it can be powered by it's own battery. Although now I'm reading it more it does seem to say "can pass the required power, audio, video, and data with a bi-directional data link cable which is through a single Mini-Din connector to the Ground Station" so I may be missing something, but does this mean it can actually be powered through connecting it (via the AV cable, then AV to USB converter) to the computer running the ground station?

Ok, turns out I was just being an idiot, I've managed to actually find the manual for it now and it explicitly says that one connector can be used, page seen here Imgur so it definitely seems I can just connect that one cable to the PC and run it all from there.
