Hey all.

New to this forum! From the land down under!

I’ve been flying fixed wind rc for around 15 years and in the last 2 years have moved to quads. Since then I’ve pretty much abandoned my fixed wing fleet because of how much fun I’m having with quads now!

Hope to learn and contribute here!

Welcome guy! I've been trying to learn fixed wing rc for years as a kid & growing up, but got too fustrated with the long building of kits, and how hard to learn to fly (not to mention the heartbreak of crashing). There was always that big fear of hoping you're not gonna crash on a flight.
But with quads, you're right. They're much more fun. Even crashing is part of the fun. Easier to recover from a crash than a plane (most of the time). Anyways, happy flying!

these drones are tough and that's a huge cushion now days learning to fly fpv compared to LOS flying in our day (70' - 90's). it's certainly surprising how well a good quad flies.
understanding the forgiveness these flying machines provide ...
