Fpv break up

Hi all

Just a quick one I have a great setup and have never had any issues with video feed but I went out yesterday and I was getting really bad break up (not noise) at around 10ft infront of me with no obstructions, I have checked everything over and can see anything wrong any ideas

Check again closely where your antenna is connected to your vtx and also how your antenna is mounted. Any contact with the carbon fibre frame could cause issues.

Hi Mate

i have checked the mmcx connector and it seems OK what i have just noticed is, i have a converter from rpsma to sma and it was slightly loose minimal but it was loose.
i did have it mounted coming out of the back but shrink tubed it to stop it grounding with the frame. i have now put a hole in the frame and a rubber grommet so it cannot touch.
unfortunately the weather is awful hear in the UK midlands so i cant test.
but will update when i can thanks for the reply mate

Keep us posted, hope the weather gets better for you. Could be worse though, here in Canada it's going down to -40C overnight.
