Falcon 250 pro pdb replacement

Hello I have a new pdb. My question is if I don't have fpv goggles and I remove the odd board and the antenna board until I buy goggles will it smoke the pdb. This is what I did on my 2 falcons. Both smoked in the front left.i sent one back to Grayson hobby.still waiting for a replacement.

This is the pdb it came with. I replaced the pdb. Soldering went well. It flew around nice and slow with control 3 minutes burst in a big flame
