Also, make sure your transmitter is set to sbus or whatever your using (im guessing you have to set it on frsky, you have to on flysky)

transmitter is not plugged into the pc, i power up and bind the tx to rx, plug micro into the pc with betaflight open and the micro connects. go to reciever tab and nothing
I've plugged the micro into betaflight first, then powered up (tx is on and rx binds) .. still no input in the reciever tab

the vid on youtube (pico blx + taranis + betaflight) is quite specific about those port settings. i did try some others (save/reboot) . this is being a bugger. I'll get it. thanks y'all, any input its good.... i can't be the first here

ok got it fingered. the stm driver has two steps to install. running the initial exe only unpacked the files to a folder. i had to go run that 86 bit version to actually install the driver1511108847853335076083.jpg
everything connects now. still working on getting the aux arming channel to work but getting closer.
any pointers on figuring out how they setup the arming switch? i see the aux channel setup on the micro in BF and i see my two additional (fltmd, arm switch) channels configured in the taranis. any tips? maybe resetting min value?.. not sure again lol

here's how the esc/ motors are configured. I've made no changes to these
withought the tx bound, the reciever tab seems to want 885 throttle low.

here's the aux 1 arm switch setup. what do i do? gut says its a range value issue. needs to be inside this range to arm i think. min. 1975 -> max 2100 when the switch is armed. what if i reverse the aux channel?

With your radio turned on, start flipping switches and see if that aux1 arm box lights up. If not, go to the receiver tab and start flipping switches to see which are already available. Then assign one of those to the arm mode.
