Before 1st flight

I just got done building and setting everything in CF and am now looking for advise on things to do with my first flights. I spun up on floor just to see the power and it jumped all over going crazy..lol I've flown RTF's before so I feel I can at least hover but I felt like this would go crazy before lifting so I'm looking for tips on first go or set ups.

Also in CF in set up my drone is pointed 90 degrees from eash other all tho the arrow is pointed to the front. Why is CF reading this wrong and is there away to correct it other then spinning FC?

MT,

Go to the configuration page in Cleanflight and change to "Yaw Degrees" to 90 or -90 depending on which way your off. Your flight controller should have an arrow on it showing the front direction of the board. If it's not pointed to the front then you have to change the yaw degrees.
