I've posted from this guy before so you might already be following him, but I thought I'd point this out because it's right up your collective alley. 90g dry, 150g with a 600mah 3s.

Components used for the Sanchez 4K:
- 4K & FPV Camera: Caddx Tarsier http://bit.ly/2NtktPR
- Motors: DYS 1404 6000kV http://bit.ly/308LLfD
- AIO: HGLRC Zeus http://bit.ly/2TzXyS6
- Props: HQ T3x2 http://bit.ly/2HaoP8R (by far the best available!)
- VTX: Eachine Nano http://bit.ly/2MnlfM7
All files for the frame are on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:381...
Also available through Armattan productions: http://bit.ly/2H8yNHJ

My soldering skills (or should I say lack of) are a long way off anything like that.
I have fried a 4 in 1 somehow on my x140 and will order a new one once back in stock. Randy is going to help me out via Video feed to try and get that done. I just can't seem to get the hang of soldering very well.
I saw there is a new practice board out and have to find where I can get it to start working on the art.
My aim is to build eventually but fifo work makes it really hard to find time for flying let alone fixing. :(

Yeah, I'm holding out a little longer mate. I'm hoping for a HD toothpick style that will come in under 100gms with 2 or 3s pack. Maybe I'm too hopeful?
Boy, that's a tall order. First off I think they need 3s for a split board. 60 grams for a 600 3s, so maybe try 40 grams for a 400, that's leaving 60 grams for the quad, lowering the overall weight by 1/3.
Why 100 grams?

In Australia we can fly under 100gms anywhere. Over that I have to travel miles to be able to fly legally, especially in Sydney with very strict rules and mostly no fly zones unless under 100gms. I guess they classify it a toy. Lol

Wow, it's 250 grams here in the states. Even that battery is 38.5 grams, leaving 61.5 for the quad. We can get some good performance at that size, but I doubt we'll ever see onboard HD down that small. You really think you'll get busted for a 150 gram build? I think you'd have to fly it straight into somebodies face for them take notice :)
I'm not reckless, but I do fly in public. Just rip a pack or two and move along.

I'm not too worried when I'm at home as the area I fly are all clear to fly, but Sydney is a different story.
People there know the rules and are very much into stopping me if I am flying my 3" .
I guess I could probably get away with 150gms, I doubt they would be carrying scales. Lol
