Hello Delon and welcome to the forum. There are some cheaper "FPV Training Racers". I had my first FPV take off to landing where I wanted with a Blade Inductrex ($70.00) with a $40 VTX and $65 goggles. Before that I flew, crashed and rebuilt a couple more expensive 250 size racers, a few times.

Thank you Chris and RHP. I'm going with used DX6. I had originally narrowed my choice of DX6i or DX7 based on how many were available on ebay. The DX6i seemed to have better programing options but is probably too complicated for me. Then a lot of nice used DX6's under $50 started popping up!

I need a full size Spektrum transmitter. I don't need a lot of features, it's for a mini quad flown indoors, leaning towards one of these: Spektrum DX6i and the Spektrum DX7. All advice will be appreciated, Lamar

Thank you for that post Jack. I really needed that tutorial. I learned I've been charging my LiPo's unnecessary fast, and have been storing them fully charged just shortening the cells lives. Good learning.

Hi guys, old RCer, newby FPVer here and it is great to find this group. I have a Walkera Runner 250 and a ZMR 250, both so freakin fast for me that I'm doing more rebuilding than FPV flying. I'm going to try baby steps; The Tiny Whoop I learned about on this site. !Thank you RedHotPoker...
