The FC says sbus/ppm where I soldered the receiver to. I'm not sure what im doing wrong I followed all the steps on the "$100 build" on YouTube by uav futures and it won't work. Could it be that my computer is to old to work with betaflight?

Ok so I built my first quad n connected to betaflights newest version. Everything on the quad works fine. I binded the qaud to my flysky fs-i6 transmitter and it binded fine. I go onto betaflights and go to ports select ppm and still can't get it to connect. I've watched endless YouTube videos...
