All kinds of things entered into that 75 foot problem. Turns out my RX antennas weren't properly placed and it was way too high. On average you'll see at least 900 feet with a stock Eachine using the i6 TX and i6 RX.

    Propeller numbers

I'm just going on things I read. What I have found is that 20A ESC's can handle higher propeller pitches without burning up. The Eachine Racer 250 comes with 12A, the Falcon with 20A. Not sure about the RoboCat. Overall the information is the same though.

6040 is 6 inches diameter with a 40 pitch (not super extreme but over the max for low power esc's like what come with the Eachine 250 racer). 5050s are 5 inch props with a severe pitch and suited for high output escs Make sure you have sufficient clearance for 6 inches and escs that can handle...

    Video TX Antenna compatibility question

OK newbie question. I want to get a backup TX antenna for my Racer 250 OEM mushroom vid TX antenna which seems flimsy. Bangood sells a pair of clovers that are RHCP with RP-SMA connectors. Two questions. 1. Are they compatible with the stock TX and 2. BG sells these as a pair, is there any...

    Case for Eachine Racer 250

With I giant tip of the hat to Brad Baker, I found the aluminum case at Menard's for $29 and followed Brad's video instruction with the exception of leaving the tool pocket section attached. Now I can carry spare props, buzzer, voltage tester, sub computer cable, and everything else including a...

Lost Drone? Use Buzzer, and even can use Tileapp!

Hey brother. Thanks for the advice and the Tile story. I took it to heart and since I won't be in any rush to attach my GoPro soon I attached the Tile to the camera pad with a double stick cushion pad and used a small zip tie loosely as back up. Here's the pic

Lost Drone? Use Buzzer, and even can use Tileapp!

Thanks for the tips, I was afraid that anything more than 5 would cook the new receiver..... I just ordered a tile.... I'll download LibrePilot now One more question though, if I understand the binding process between the Eachine i6 transmitter and the receiver right, I can't hook up the power...

Lost Drone? Use Buzzer, and even can use Tileapp!

Wowzers. Great stories. I now have a buzzer and will definitely get a Tile. Glad you didn't have to do what I did. BTW, if you know, when you bind a new receiver (eachine i6 receiver), how many volts can you apply to the a receiver channel while binding. I have some 1s 650 mah batteries at...

Thanks man! I guess I should be 100% honest here. This is my second Eachine 250. First one was a RTF with everything bound and configured. I knew nothing about it and figured, with my Phantom "skills", I should be able to fly it. HA!!! Neither the i6 transmitter nor the ccd3 was configured...

Although I have been flying Phantom's (P2v, P2V+ and P3P) for almost 2 years with hundreds of flights and miles under my belt, I have decided to get into this more technically demanding area. I am expecting my ARF Eachine 250 racer to arrive in the morning. I have downloaded and installed...
